Sealed with a beeswax finish, this piece is made using herbs and other materials sourced from my home. The artwork features swirls of blues reminiscent of water in the sky or the deep hues of the ocean.
This is an original, one-of-a-kind cyanotype. The wet cyanotype process is challenging to replicate. It takes several hours to complete, and each plant creates its own unique patterns and designs, which are captured in a distinct way. By using found materials from my home, the alternative materials yield amazing results. Each print is truly unique.
