I used homegrown cucumber from our front yard garden to create these prints. The deep blues with little hints of gold and abstract shapes almost feel like they are floating in the deep sea. The alternative cyanotype process takes several hours to complete, and each plant has its unique patterns and designs. Cyanotype prints capture that uniqueness in a special way. By using found materials in my home, I was able to achieve amazing results with these alternative materials. Each print is truly one-of-a-kind.
