#100dayproject 2026
The 100 day project is something I look forward to every year. #The100dayproject is a creative way to stick to a habit for 100 days. “If you feel a spark, if you have an idea you want to explore, if you’re not sure what or how but know you need to, if you’ve ever wanted a reason to (re)start your creative practice, or if you could really use something positive to focus on, this is it.” (The 100 day project ). My first 2 years, I wanted to stick with my personal goal of making something everyday. Not to add an extra chore but to build skill. I committed to making cyanotypes for 100 days. It is work, but worth it.
I made a lot, AND I learned a lot.
This year, I want to commit to creating something every day. After teaching in the classroom all day and processing everything happening in the world, I often feel exhausted by the end of the day. Making something daily will help me process my feelings and improve my mood.
TBH, making something with materials I already have. Being intentional, being resourceful, and mindful all in one. This makes my heart happy. In the moment.
